Have You been to Pinners Conference and Expo?
I went to the Pinners Conference and Expo last year for the first time. All I can say as an avid crafter…the Pinners Conference and Expo is a crafter’s paradise! There were booths upon booths of great products and even delicious food for sale. Pinners Conference attendees can also sign up for seminars (for an additional fee) to learn about any topic they choose. Did I mention that there are plenty of make and take opportunities as well?
I personally took classes that covered freezer meal prep, tablescaping, photography, memory keeping, and blogging. I’m telling you, there are so many different options! These were just a sample of what I could have signed up for.

What if I’m not a big crafter?
Guess what? You don’t have to be a crafter to love the Pinners Conference and Expo! The Pinners Conference is a space for people that like to DIY, design, decorate, craft, cook, and create. As you’ll see from the classes offered, this conference caters to a wide variety of hobbies.
I think the CEO stated it best here:
“Pinners Conference is the only DIY, cooking, crafting and style expo where the pages of Pinterest come to life,” said Roxanne Bennett, CEO. “We connect consumers with the top influencers in their fields who offer the know-how needed to start (and finish!) any project.”
What can I find at the retail booths?
Lets just say that shopping is just one of my favorite forms of cardio. Pinners Conference and Expo helps me get this form of cardio in 😉
Last year, my favorite booths included a girls’ hairstyle monthly subscription box with demonstrations. There was fresh honey with a live honey bee display. I also loved the chalk board and chalk pen options, hair tools, and even “she shed” booths. This is just a small sampling of what I saw last year.
I would definitely say that this can easily be a fun girl’s day out!

What types of classes are available?
You can spend the day learning in addition to checking out merchandise and booths at the Pinners Conference and Expo when you purchase a class pass.
Here is a snapshot of just some of the classes offered:
- Farmhouse Bead Garland
- Modern Watercolor Florals
- Rustic Airplant Garden
- Intro to Tapestry Weaving
- Sashiko Embroidery
- Gnome Sweet Gnome
- From Clueless to Calligraphy in 20 Minutes
- Bath Bomb Fizzies
- Off Loom Weaving
- DIY Facial Clay Mask
- Stress Free Kids Cooking
You can find a full listing of the classes by visiting the Pinners Conference website, or clicking HERE.
My personal experience is that these classes are a great introduction to the topic at hand, but you will not leave an expert. For example, I took a photography class and got a lot of great basic information. However it was up to me to build upon what I learned there and research further. I thought the classes were great.
I highly recommend that you register for classes in advance online to reserve your spot. Remember, the seminars are not included with general admission. You must purchase a class pass or VIP pass in order to take a class. However, you can do walk up sign in if there are spots available.
