What is Santa’s Speedway?

Santa’s Speedway is a family-friendly event being held at the Irwindale Speedway. As you might have guessed, this event has a race car theme going on and is sure to bring joy to little car-loving hearts!

Some of the most noteworthy things you’ll find at this walk-through holiday event include HUGE light installations and a barn filled with race cars dressed up in lights.

Why is Santa’s Speedway special?

There are several reasons I can think of. I’ll share some here.

First, how about the fact that this event is set up in an actual speedway?! It was so neat walking up to the speedway and seeing it filled to the brim with lights.

Second, the car theme. If your kid is at all obsessed with cars or Disney Cars, I bet this event will be an instant winner in their book. From the speedway, to the cars and holiday decorations made with tires, this one is sure to be a hit.

Third, everyone in your group will love all of the lights and many photo opps. As I walked through, I was a little bummed that we already made our Christmas card as there were so many fun pictures we could have used. My favorite? The GIGANTIC walk through ornament at the entrance.
